The compote arrangement has been a signature of mine for many years. Here I talk you through each step using a pin frog and tape for my mechanics. Use this as a guide to create your own versions incorporating branches, foliage and flowers. 

This small compote, a diminutive version of the large compote shows a light and airy application incorporating tonal contrasts of vines, branches and flowers. The combination of small vessel and large frog makes this small arrangement fast and fun.

This large scale branch arrangement is an example of how easily branches, and in this case long wine berry canes, create great impact and instant drama with very little effort.

This loose and lush bouquet shows my technique of building from the bottom up, combining small and large flowers and using lots of foliage to create movement and texture between the blossoms.
