October in New England
October 13, 14, 15, at Prospect Berkshires in Massachusetts
October 13, 14, 15 I will be hosting a 3 day flower intensive at Prospect Berkshires in Massachusetts.
Autumn in the Berkshires is one of my favorite times to be here. The last hurrah!
Through demonstration, discussion and creation in their respective styles, students will learn how to mindfully construct lavish, far-reaching large-scale arrangements, floral installations, table designs and refine their bouquet making skills.
This workshop will also focus on learning sustainable, reusable and eco friendly methods for the mechanics needed for small and large scale installations as well as broader sustainable practices to implement in the event business as a whole.
Students will gain a greater understanding of the relationships between color, texture and form; how best to honor each stems individual grace and movement.
For this 3 day workshop we are offering a program geared towards flower enthusiasts, both beginners and established designers alike during which we will focus on the following:
Large scale arrangements
Centerpieces
Bridal bouquets
Large scale foam free installations/table design
Q&A FOCUSSING ON SUSTAINABLE AND ECO FRIENDLY BUSINESS PRACTICES
With flowers sourced from local farms and growers, students will be using the most beautiful assortment of flowers available.
All work will be photographed by a professional photographer and will be available for the students portfolios.
Workshop will be held at Prospect Berkshires.
Investment includes all of the above and lunch daily as well as the final dinner. It does NOT include accommodations or travel.
